the linisher can be used to decap the injectors.
correct, the cams will just float, not very efficent.

how can you get the avcs working? i take it you need an aftermarket ecu? or sti ecu? is it the same harness?

the harness is different.
you could fit a complete bug eye sti harness and ecu, doing this you can also gain automatic intercooler waterspray.

and on your point of being told it will just plug straight in and run...
unfortunately the knoledgable staff that used to be at JWS are no longer there.

you may need to up grade the gear box if it ever gets like Micks 2.5 motor
