Another question for you guys!! I have just fitted my new engine and everything seems to be plugged in. When I turn the key there is no action from the starter motor. Can anyone tell me if the black and yellow wire goes to the back of the starter motor or earthed to the engine? The wire 'm describing is the one that's in the same loom as the starter motor power cable. There is also a little black wire that looks to be earth that comes out the back of the engine bay (fire wall). It's one of those ones that slides onto a metal tab. Can anyone help me with a picture of a description of where these should go?

it should go onto the starter motor. take a closer look on it and you should find where it goes

Hey Jamie, At the moment I have the black cable running to a tab on top of the started motor. So it sounds like I have it rite, wonder what the hell the problem is then.

All sorted, Thanks Jamie, it was the black wire coming out of the firewall that needed to be connected to the starter motor, I coudn't see the tab because it was underneath. Cheers!!
