Default Exhaust Silencer/FMIC Piping - For Car Registering

Just wondering if anyone knows where to get silencers from? Or if anyone has one I can borrow for a few hours when I take my car over the pits?

Also wondering if anyone can let me know the deal with FMIC piping - does it have to be supported by brackets? It's very strong and barely moves when it's completely tightened with hose clamps but I'm unsure if it's got similar rules to pod filters etc.?

Anyone info would be appriciated.

Jason

Awesome mate, I'll drop you a PM. Guessing the same size, mines not china spec but I'm sure it'd probably fit. Did they say anything about FMIC in general?

Awesome. I think it was a 3.5" outlet? I'll measure it. Cheers for the help guys. Really dreading going to get this thing licensed!

As long as it is done right should be no major dramas.
I dont know for sure the in and outs of the FMIC but my understanding is the core must be well secured. The piping is then secured as such by connecting to the core.

Not sure what you have had done since I last saw your car but it looked decent back then. As long as you have all lights working, (including 3rd brake light) tyres are good, engine bay is clean and free of oil etc. Take the car for a bit of a spin and wear the rust of your bake rotors if they are still like that. Dont do as your dad said and spray them with oil... LMAO

I think welshpool is the best but the guys at E perth are pretty good atm, took my jacked up engineered GC over last week & the stock BOV was pretty noisy going into the pod so I blanked it off........The flutter was twice as loud but he still passed it.

They said nothing about my front mount. I made sure my pod filter bracket was noticeable and he didnt say anything about the cooler piping.
