Finally got around to fitting a Butler TBE, and thought I'd do the right thing and let RAC insurance know.

They have asked for a before and after power figure.

Since I haven't got the before dyno sheet, I'm not sure that it's worth getting an after one since I don't have anything to compare it to.

Just wondering if any MY03 owners have dyno sheets for

1) Stock MY03 WRX with no mods

2) Stock MY03 WRX with TBE only

RAC never asked about any "changes" to my car...

..get in touch with Thodd - he can get bulk pricing on pineapples that Kato's talking about

Might give tham another call. A bit hesitant to ignore their request just in case they use it as an excuse to void my insurance.

RAC asked me the same thing. I told them I didn't know what it was originally. I said it was 168kw at the flywheel from factory (in 2005) and with the mods it's now 163kw at the wheels. This confused them greatly.

+1 They asked me the same thing too. Just tell them from the book its 16x Kw which is your reference point. After TBE and tune is 16xkw from the dyno sheet.

Just put what ever money you would spend just to get a
dyno sheet towards a tune then you can show them a
before and after and have some more POWA!!!

so just advise them you don't have either. Sounds like Insurance companies are getting too smart OR angling for further information about your car in the event it highlights other mods. This could be a problem wrxers!
