Optimax Extreme Fuel??
Just reading the latest street machine mag and saw an ad about Shell Optimax Extreme saying it is a new fuel with an octane reading of 100, which includes 5% ethanol.
Just wondering if this will be better for the subies or harmful??

If you go to the Vic WRX Website. There is a HUGGGGEEEEE thread on optaping.
Supposedly we will not be getting it for a long time to come as Geelong only makes the stuff and they can barely service the east coast let alone truck it over to the west. I understand that Vortex 98 will be here early next year. |

ethanol is bad, right? its not-so-rare to see servo's advertising "zero ethanol" on their pumps.

when you fart the gas in that has ethanol so just fart in your fuel tank if it makes the octane better
