Default Help Needed Very Urgent

ok, i brought a set of 2nd hand prosport coilovers today, i put them in myself as i have done i few before. i was driving home from my workshop and as i got home i noticed alot of rubber in the rear guards and and the car smelt of rubber. i looked under the car and noticed the inside of the rear tyres were rubbing on the bottom of the spring and on the two lock nuts where you adjust the height. i just rang the guy i bought them off and he said they where of a wagon.. so is that my problem, are wagons suspension different to sedans?
there is a bit of camber but not much. i hope someone can help as i am totally stumped.

cheers

nup, same-same

you might want to check the condition of the mountings on the strut, if the struts have been previously involved in an accident, they could have an excessive amount of camber on them...

I'd say its simply just too much camber.

I had that problem with my DMS struts and i ended up having to use pillowball strut tops just to get enough clearance on the rear end.

hmmmm there is a bit of camber, might just take the car to a suspension shop and get them to sort it out, and do an alignment. would camber bolts help. sorry for the questions

yeah camber bolts will sort it..

but if you wind up the spring base that will resolve the issue for now, tis the downside to dumping them too low

Thing is Denver, smiddee has Pro-Sports, similar design to Hot Bits which I had on my Liberty, and never had any issues with ride height. It is weird.
