Default Whiteline Rear Subframe Lock Kit. KSB750.

Anyone installed this $40 pair of bolts to the rear subframe, wondering if you noticed a difference in the handling?

Yeah, I have these on my car. Noticed less "play" in the rear end when acclerating also when going around corners. A good mod (especially for the price)!

Similar. Seemed to tighten up the rear end under lateral loads a little.

ditto,

once they went in, they havnt been out since.

they are a massive interference fit though, not something you put in or take out with a ring spanner- winding them in all the way does take a bit of effort.

but yes, worth it.

i have them in my car too, the back end gets very sideways with them in... not so much with them out.
but i take them out when not MC'ing coz the instructions from whiteline state that they should not be left in for long periods as they can cause chassis problems.
they ARE locking the rear diff to the car, so most of the rear drivetrain movement is then put onto your chassis

yes the down side Whiteline warn about is the chassis could crack with prolonged use. Yet to find one that has cracked but its better to be warned. They firm up the rear nicely and for $40 a MC must have. Do them after sway bars, antilift kit and before a good wheel alignment.

then again, how many of us drive around on brake pads, discs, swaybars etc that are marked 'for motorsport use only' on a daily basis?
