my97/98 Sti RA front cut $4500
with rear axel, diff, gearbox motor, normal frontcut wizzbang

YAY
Now how good are these engines?

ah yeah. speak to gav on hear (stiv6253 i think) as his name was on that halfcut for a while so he might have more info for you. i had a brief look over it a few months back, should be good if you get the rear end with it as its R180

hhrmm wonder why their still selling it, if his name was on it. I want to go have a look but im so far away from the shop....i cant do anything for like a few weeks anyways so if its still there then its a go ahead, i need to get my car going, the right engine, only have the 4by and the missus needs it back..hahahha

They're selling it because he went in a different direction
and bought an MY00 that was going to be built but bought
a V6 STi instead.

There should be nothing wrong with the front cut at all and
there was some question about it possibly being a V Limited
due to the rev limiter and other small things.

sorry whats V limited??? do i have to do anything rego wise when i get this motor in, like change engine number? go over the pits?

Ive never replaced or upgraded an engine before, ive always rebuilt..

just do an engine swap form, its stock size so you will have no issues.
