boost tee risks ?

just wondering if you guys had any problems with running a boost tee, or if there are many risks involved ?

are you referring to a bleed valve?

if so, the only risk is hitting your boost cut, and damaging your motor.

Winding up the boost too far with just a boost tee / bleed valve just causes headaches.

Its awesome!

92 RS 22-04-2010 10:52 AM

the RS is running a turbosmart manual dual stage boost controller with no probs, control hi/low from in cabin, holds boost great, no spikes. as long as your T is a decent brand it should be fine. make sure your fuel pump is up to the task too, and a boost gauge to see what your putting through it. obviously an electronic boost controller would be better, but for entry level boost control theres nothing wrong with a decent boost T.

otherwise your next thread will be titled "i have this loud rattle/knock coming from my sump area"
