vf22 if you want to lag up the cummins diesel.

vf35/vf34/vf39 if you want some decent response and sensible top-end.

gtpumps/momentum/twinscrolls if you want better response/better top end.

How would the VF34 go on my auto? And would it be better matched with a TMIC or FMIC?

I have heard of twinscroll, but who make them? ihi? and who is a supplier. I need something this week. If cant find anything else ill go the vf34.

a vf34 on an auto with FMIC, id say it'd be laggy and unresponsive, ideally get a p15 housing and slap that on the back of the vf34 (making it a semi vf35) that way you get the benifit of the vf34 roller bearings and the quicker spool of a vf35 giving you a much quicker spooling turbo, a genuine vf35 can still do 350 odd hp, so dont be under any impression that a hybrid vf34/35 turbo could be too 'small'.

either way, a fmic on the auto is gonna be a lag hole, not to mention your torque convertor is gonna be all screwed up.

see tenagah for the GTPUMPS (i havnt seen any huge results from these yet unfortunatley)

see speedworks for the momentum

twinscrolls are genuine on the liberty GT's and JDM sti engines from 2005 onwards, you need headers, turbo, sump, oil pickup, oil dipstick and dump pipe to make them fit, to find these you need to ask about or go direct to subaru.

What do u mean bout the torque convertor?? I was leaning more towards either a PWR or APS top mount anyway, i seriously reckon an FMIC on an auto is just for the bling factor!! Either way, will have to get a high stall to combat the laggy launches etc. I guess.

Who'd be best to speak to about the VF34 with the different exh housing? Where do you guys buy your turbos?

Get a VF35 as tuna said

Changing housing on a VF34 is the same as just getting a VF35, 28, 24, etc

or get a supercharger to run in tandem

Again.... WHERE is best to go, price wise and good workmanship.??
