Default MY06 Springs

Hey guys,

I am looking at lowering my MY06 and was hoping some users could post some photos of their rides with springs, giving description to how much it dropped from standard and the specifications of the springs/shocks.

Cheers

i do believe these will fit your car if by saying you have an my06 means you have a my06 wrx

(won't fit my06 liberty or my06 impreza sti)

Hey mate,

This is my MY07 with King Spring Super Lows and stock shockies. It's been a long while since I put the springs on, but I'm pretty sure it dropped about 20mm. Hope this helps!

Rhett.

Rhett,

Thanks for the photos as they were what I was after. Your WRX looks awesome ! Can you advise the size of your rims ?

Could you please measure the distance from the centre of the wheel to the bottom lip on the front and rear guards. This will then provide me with the information I need to determine ride height with my 18" enkei rims.

Thanks.

This is how my old MY07 Wrx looked after installing H&R springs.

They also dropped a bit lower after a month or two after settling, so
they dropped a good 40+mm.

Looks fantastic - what I want ! Awesome looking...What size wheels are on your WRX ? Were you happy with the springs and the performance of the suspension ?

Can you let us know the springs part number, who installed and price.

Cheers

Rims were 19"s, springs were ok for handling but not as good
as they could have been but if you want lowered looks and a nice
firm ride with no roll get some coil overs or some supporting suspension
mods such as sway bars etc to go with the springs.

Price wise I think they were $600 (I'll have to check the box for the
part number) and they were fitted by a Subaru dealership in Sydney
for me along with the rims when I bought the car new.

Thanks for your help and I would appreciate if you could confirm part numbers. Just had a look on the net and there are UK versus USA part numbers.

Cheers

Just found the box and it has the Part #54457 on it and it also has in
marker "WRX USA" written on it so hope that helps.

I was also able to find the email from the workshop Subaru got them from
and the price was $620 for the springs. :thumbs up:

king "super lows" will drop it a fair bit more than 20mm.

king "lows" would drop it about 20mm though.
