Default Removal Of MY06 WRX Parcel Shelf To Install Coilovers

I am looking at installing coilovers in my MY06 WRX and would like to know how to remove rear seat and parcel shelf. I believe that you need to remove parcel shelf and would like confirmation. I am miticulous and do not want to damage any components and worse still be left with an annoying noise at the completion.

Cheers,
Phil

you only need to remove the rear seat
should be 12mm bolts holding base of seat in, then at the bottom of the back rests will be 4 or 5 12mm bolts holding it in

Definitely don't have to remove the parcel shelf!

As above, remove the 12mm bolts holding in the 2 seat base bolts, that lifts out.. then 4 bolts to remove the seat back. Flip the arm rest down to make it easier to lift out.
