Not a fan. Haven't tried it but my main objection is that if you retune your engine to take advantage of the benefit of the cooler charge and the system fails for one of many possible reasons you will be charging down detonation boulevard quicker than you can say "argh fark I need a new bottom end".

http://www.snowperformance.net/forum/ Some handy reference points for info/opinions There's a fair amount of flexibility with how you can set up WI systems dependent on what your needs/wants are (and budget). If you just want it as a safety net and dont intend to run crazy boost then there isnt too much to worry about. However if you choose to rely on its knock suppression to run a shit load of boost on pump fuel then, as mentioned by CDR RA the worrying factor is that it is a finite resource...it runs out about the same time your luck does That said you can (fairly esaily) run dual maps to get the results you want on the track and then down tune the entire car for the street. Best of both worlds... Inform yourself, decide what you want to achieve...then go see your workshop/tuner.
