Default Cold Air Induction

I have a pod filter fitted to my car, but it has no ducted cod air feed. I noticed that underneth the front indicator there is an air intake, does anyone know of any products/home made jobbies that will duct cold air up to the air filter.

Chase them few extra horses!!!

Michael South makes them.
try

This design of intake is a bit more susceptible to water getting into the motor which is not a good thing.

Ive been told that you need to retune (very mildy) (EJ20) if you put CAI/pod on?? Is this correct?? Apparently they run a bit lean??

mmmmm does that mean i can stic a POD in place of the stock box and not have to tune? But if i use proper thermo plastic CAI kit to duct the POD down near the guard, i will have to tune?

it depends whether u run stock ecu or aftermarket one
i used to run pod filter on stock ecu without any probs...
if u have after market one then ull need a retune after swapping your airbox with pod

if u get the proper CAI, say mrt or aps or whatever, ull need a retune i guess
