Default Twin Scroll - TD06SL2-20G -Too Laggy-

Question for the experts,

The below turbo TD06SL2-20G (Photo) is a new offering from Kandodynamic on eBay, would this turbo be too laggy for a 2L engine, the wheel is a 20G.

I have also spoken to GT Pumps about their new twin scroll turbo that also has a 20G wheel, from there initial testing it comes on about 800rpm later than a VF36, but with great mid-range and top-end. They also offer the same turbo with a 18G wheel...

Too many options nowdays

Thoughts??

There is no way you can really say without someone having tried it.

Are compressor maps available?

More info on eBay turbos.

Apparently the Kinugawa and Kando ones are built in Japan and are pretty good quality, but who knows how they perform..

It is tempting, I have bought lot's of gear from Kando (even scored a VF42 once), he has quoted me under $1K so not too bad I suppose!!

Get a Garrett GT series and be done with it - can't go far wrong and heaps of options to mix and match housings etc to tailor it to exactly how you want it to perform.

Some of Kando's ebay feedback has said the Turbo's were sent from
China and Taiwan and not from Japan as stated but that's not to say
they will work well and do their job.

Also if guys on Nasioc are providing good feedback then just try
it out and be the guinea pig.

I thought you wanted to get another 42 Gav?
