its still not tuned, but im getting full boost around 4200rpm, its a top end turbo really - suffers a bit with lack of torque down low but when it hits, you get planted in your seat

I plan to decrease that with tuning and some other stuffs

the deadbolt and Fp stuff is the same shit

I'm fitting a Deadbolt SZ49 to a 2.5 on the weekend, will let you know after it gets tuned, but I have got a IHI/Garrett hybrid twinscroll set up on my 2.5,if you want to see how it goes let me know.it might help you in your search for a turbo.

top mount is the way to go for less lag, but then youd be better off gettig a FP 20g like joe ballsistic has.
Fp green is the same as a 20g just has heaps more top end.
So your top mount wont help for that reason

What sort of boost do you run on the hybrid TS?

I think a 20G might be too big for what I'm looking at, will have to check out more cars and see what works well.

EDIT apparently deadbolt can rework a vf37 to the same specs of the PE1825, maybe they can do a hybrid for me then... ohhh fun

i think the above mentioned are a bit small to make good poweron a 2.5, theres a garrett gt32, i think that is a twin scroll, the yanks have had good results with them, crawford advertise them for their 2.5....whats wrong with a AVO400L, especially on a 2.5

avo's are over priced. If the 20g is too big for you then you definatly dont want to go the Green

Garret GT25 comes to mind but they arnt twin scroll - good for 250kwaw

The FP 20G and Green are much the same, apart from the front end....they provide similar pump fuel performance, whilst the green really excels when running higher boost levels and/or race fuel.

I'd take an FP over a Deadbolt personally, but they are both good turbos.

My aim is about 200-250kw atw if possible with twin scroll and top/v mount. To keep minimal lag. Maybe I'm dreaming but I think it can be done.
