Left field possibility:

Are your thermal fans coming on when cold? I had a weird issue where the ecu thought it was hot, so the fans would come on, then the ecu would hunt up and down for idle.

Try resetting your ecu.

Did you happen to short anything during the battery swap?

Try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes, reconnect it, start the car (let it idle, don't touch the throttle) and allow it to relearn the idle for a few minutes.

Shut it of & re-start it...

Post back if that doesn't fix it.

There is another way to reset the ecu but try the battery disconnect first.

Default Idle problem

Hi Guys
I am also having an Idle problem

Idles at 800 rpm as usual
However, it has trouble holding the idle once i pull up to stop

Seems to go into a hunting mode

I have had a few flat batteries and have had to jump start it

I will disconnect the battery and leave it for a few hours to reset the ECU

Any other ideas
I have already changed the throttle sensor but, it made no change
Sounds like a ECU problem
