Reckon its
1. they didn't use anti squeal when putting the last pads on
2. they didn't put the plating (wear indicator) on properly

Yeah could be the anti-squeek plates..

However what brand pads or rotors are you using?

The Ferodo 2500 Pads with DBA 3000's squeek like all buggery if you drive like a nanna, however thats all sorted out when you tramp on the brakes to even the pads out

my RB Comp9's (racing pad) would squeal if i was driving like a bitch, cause at low temps the brakes are working on friction alone. give em a stop or two and they would warm up, and coat the disc in adhesive material which sitcks better and was silent

either that or the wear indicator is on crooked etc, bend it back with a pair of pliers or throw it away
