Default process west tmic whistle

hi peeps

just got my new process west tmic so pretty happy , but i have put it on and i seem to be getting a high pitched whistle sound when i hit about 4 - 5k rpm?

i checked the connections but all seems well??

any ideas?

parts upto the throttle body are: cypher air pod -> silicon intake -> TD04 -> process west tmic (using the stock my99 bov)

luke

does not sound like a turbo spool , more like a whistle at first i thought it was an air leak or the y pipe was bent but all looks fine

Whistle will 99% be a boost leak.

Check and tighten everything up, otherwise bubble test to find the leak.

First thing I would check is where the BOV bolts on.

Unlikely, never heard of that from a pw tmic before - if was found out to be the case im sure he would replace it for you at no cost to you.

Did you get the entire kit or just the tmic? Is the y-pipe all ok?
