Lighten pulley = Not the best value for $ mod. Had it on the rex and this is not a mod you would do as a 1st, 2nd or even 3rd stage. You would do this when you've done all the mods that doesn't involve a new engine or gearbox.

I'm not sure if he's refering to lighten pulleys as he implying bigger ones. Lighten pulleys are not bigger, they in fact as their name suggest, lighter
Not sure if you got them mixed up
I can't see how bigger pulleys = more power as that would mean more traction, hence more effort for the car

Unless you're refering to Cams. Which makes a little bit more sense. Pulleys and cams aren't the same thing though

lighten pulleys, they're lighter so you dun lose as much power over those pulleys, same principle as having lighter alloy wheels and lighten flywheel.

i got mine from xspeed. xspeed reckons the gfb ones shows 3kW increase on dyno, whereas theirs shows an increase of 5kW and slight more torque,

however to be honest i dun feel any difference after having those pulleys installed.

I figure they* (the pulleys) might be ground a special way to get a bit more (power), sounds pretty ignant (ignorant - its a movie reference) in reflection

i just thought they may be made a special way to get better timing, but as i said i realised that that was quite stoopid

lightened pulleys is about efficiency. power is lost via the effort required to move shit. hence why lightened flywheels are a nice mod

i've got gfb lightweight alloy pulleys (gfb powerup kit) and honestly noticed no difference if that helps!
