I obtained an image from a certain member's ECU image, as far as i know the vechicle is an MY03 STI WRX.

The image on the ECU is of a UK based MY01/MY02 Firmware which makes me a little dubious that full power is not being achived as AVCS was shipped with MY03 (AUS) onwards to my assumption.

What has me a little worried is that the ECU is of a MY04 board backflashed to MY01/MY02. Now.. one would think that the software in question would be more targeted at altering the proper MY03/MY04 ROM to take advantage of AVCS.

Can anyone confirm if UK based MY01/MY02 came with any form of AVCS?

Do you mean if UK spec STI's were AVCS based or the firmware in the ecu's?

I'd 'assume' so as the jap spec MY01 was running avcs which was then introduced in the MY02 in AUS and UK. Maybe one of our UK members can answer?

Yep, after a little more searching. I found the answers i wanted.

MY03,04,05 WRX and STI's came with AVCS

MY02 STI's came with AVCS too.
