You sure it's fluctuating boost? Got a gauge? I reckon what you've posted hints toward plugs.

No guage. 200,000km service should sort things.

All sorted thanks to S-Technic. Looks like it was simply a set of plugs.
Runs more smoothly through the whole range and no fuss under foot.
Good to go for a while now.

hey man mine is doing excatly the same, and yeah i am doing plugs leads and hopefully it fixes it, sounds like a few people here think the same so good place for both of us to start.

Does it ever. Had it up near Chittering last night. Spotties a blaze some nice bits of road. Much fun had. It's running really well.
