Default BRANT system is always breaking down.

Guys I have seen the Brant system break down fron the GC8s to the GDBs, have repaired and removed a lot of them. Today, a GDB 2004 was towed into the workshop and I was surprised to find both parts of the BRANT system faulty, The main control box and the small immobiliser control box both failed. This has led me to believe that the quality on the BRANT is just bad.

Have got the keypad part working which controls 2 immobilsation points including fuel cut to the ecu, but the main unit which controls the starter immobilisation is still faulty as the remote cannot arm and disarm the alarm and the starter immobilisation.

Any super heros managed to fixed this problem?

Will be totally removing the brant system for the client and fitting a aftermarket system anyhow.

remote system is working just not arming and disarming the system. Was the main control unit of the Brant that was faulty. Ripped it off and put in an autowatch. Another happy customer.
