hey guys just wanted a little advise. I have just fitted a vf23 to my 2000 wrx and it has the following modz:

APS tmic (with water sprayers?
perrin silicon intake
k&n panel filter
walbro 255 pump
3" tbe
sti bov
vf23

what is the max boost i could run through it? And should i reset the ecu? any help would be greatly appreciated

you could probably make 30psi if you wire the wastegate shut!

with a power fc/autronic ecu fitted and tuned, you should safely see 18psi and around 180kw atw

assuming you are running stock ej205 engine

You should probably look at getting it tuned to suit. Via a Power FC with a z32 AFM or something similar.

Id run 20psi of boost.

But dont even think of leaning on the throttle until you've had it tuned.

hmmmmmmmmmmm interesting. had my fun with wastegates on evos so i might just stick to 14psi and see how that goes. powerfc is next i think.
