Default Removing lift kit

hey guys

I want to lower my brumby and have discovered when climbing underneath that it has a 2inch lift kit. I rang a shop and they told me its alittle bit more involved than just taking the blocks out. Once the lift kit is removed do i have to replace any parts brake lines, springs ,shocks? etc

im guessing i shouldn't have any issues with other parts breaking on me once the kits removed as it will be at factory height, can anyone confirm?

if anyone is looking for a lift kit ill be more than happy to work a deal out (would prefer they help remove and swap with there standard parts)

cheers steve

Ask on here, someone will probably buy it off you or swap for stock parts.

you shouldnt need any extra replacement parts apart from a new engine stayrod as yours will be longer currently and also new bolts - 2 inches shorter to replace lift kit ones. springs/shocks brake lines etc will be standard.

its not a hard job per say, but time consuming and youd have to know what youre doing. i wouldnt be taking it out unless you're really keen on lowering it etc.

you will need the stock steering joint once you remove the kit.

Also, is it still running the standard engine? Had a feeling your car was running a EJ20t but may be confusing for someone else. I have heard of people putting EJs in with a lift and not needing to notch the chassis rails. If this is the case then chassis will need notching for clearance of the heads.

My old brumby had the conversion, this one is running stock motor. if anyone want to earn some coin helping me remove the lift kit let me know or if the person wants the kit they could have that instead.
