The power cuts because the ECU cuts fuel to stop the engine revving. Have you owned a car before? Like said above, why do you think there is a red line on the tachometer? Just because Subaru likes to put as much red on their dashes as possible?
Maybe sell up and buy a Commodore.

Maybe treat the car with a little bit of respect....that way, in a few years time some poor dude isn't left fixing all the problems you caused by driving like this...

You can bounce off the limiter once of twice after that the ecu will cut fuel for few sec before you can start revving again

Dont listen to these poofs. Limiter is mint! Stay on it. Thats when the car is at its most efficient.
