Agreed. Dont go lightened flywheel. If you really have to only go slightly lighter.

will you lose torque with lighten flywheel? if so im not gona bother with it aye

No you dont lose torque. But it does require a little more revs to get a good launch. All it does it reduce the amount of energy stored in the spinning flywheel. It doesnt affect the engines output.

Thats right. can make the car hard to drive though. Especially smoothly.

^^^only if you're retarded

if you get one around the 5.5kg mark they are perfect, never had any issues with mine, easy to drive, felt like it had more power due to less rotational mass, only downside would be engine braking which you shouldn't be doing anyways

I have this light weight flywheel in my 6 speed, it is about 6kg...

EXEDY RACING CHROMOLY FLYWHEEL 04-10 WRX STI 2.5L TURBO | eBay

It does take some getting used to, and is harder to take off if you are stuck on a hill, but the difference in acceleration makes up for this, the engine isn't working as hard.

Our Dollar is really strong atm so will order these soon the HD organic clutch and the lighten flywheel, will get used to it quickly
