got a quick question for u all. i am looking at getting in to the 11sec bracket but was wondering would a 02 sti block be strong enough to cope with the power. or should i go for like forging my internals i got now.

02 STi block is semi-closed deck so it's significantly stronger than your standard block. The forged pistons are another bonus, too. 11's are definately achievable with sensible tuning, good fuelling, good breathing and a well sized turbo.

I think the short motor is around $3500 from Regents? Not 100% sure on that as I haven't had the pleasure of needing one!

Not that much boost josh.. only 1.8 bar.. but the green was a pig to get off the line
