Default Need advice for my new 5 speed box

Hi all,

finally got my replacement box after much procrastinating. It's from a version 2 JDM STI 555 edition and has only travelled 19000 miles. FD ratio is 4.11 to match my current rear diff.

basically i just need some helpful hints to prepare/check the box before i make a decision on how and when i will be doing the transplant. I have a new exedy HD organic single plate to go with.

Also if someone has any literature i can read up on about gearbox swaps for gc8's or any past experiences with performing swaps for early wrx's that would be great as well!

Thanks!!
