Default MY05 Info.....

Evening,

I recently acquired an '05 Rex with the following mods; STi spec C 207 short block, forged pistons, billet conrods, race bearings, STi intercooler and an unknown fuel pump.

I took it down to Xspeed today for a service. The dyno showed a result of 206 horsepower..... Am I missing something or should a vehicle with the above mods be putting out a tad more power?

Richard has advised a new turbo and a front mounted intercooler to pump up the horses.... what price am I looking at for those kind of mods?

Jipped?

If you have been jipped, i.e. the parts that were advertised for the car are not actually what the car has, then if you have the advert or written proof of the specs advertised you can take the seller to court as all sellers are to sell products as advertised and if the item isn't as advertised when sold then a refund/compensation is in order.

Hope you haven't been jipped tho

206 horsepower?

You sure it has a turbo? Sounds like an N/A to me.

Take it to one of the workshops in the workshop thread to have a good look at it and lt you know where the hold ups are.

Also what's you bum dyno say? 206hp is going to be noticeable compared to 280hp.

Thumbs down

Typo..... I meant 226 HP. Will put the chart up once I work out how to. Richard down at Xspeed reckons the motor is stock!

The plot thickens.....

Sound right to me, 206HP is about 150KW (226hp=168kw). That is a pretty good figure if you still have the TD04, I'm pretty sure my stock 05 STi pulled about 156KW.

Yeh agree, I read 207 and TD04 didn't even get a thought.
