off a 92 liberty? pretty sure the struts will still fit, if they are off a later model liberty the rears won't fit at all as they changed to a single bolt lower connection

Lowered WRX king springs wont sit the same on a Forester as they do on a WRX too, just straight stock WRX height give it a good drop without bottoming out on speed bumps. WRX wagon springs are better choice too as the sedan springs sag a bit lower in the back...never bothered me but if you've got.the choice its something to consider.

yeah general rule of thumb using gc8 struts on a foz (unless you use gd sti struts) is to use staggered springs front & rear, like if you have super lows on the front - put lows on the back, this gets rid of bumsag

I hate saggy bums! I would imagine a set off a wrx wagon would be perfect as they would allow for anal sag. I might begin harassing members for a set of stock springs off a wagon.

I want the car to look nice and low but I certainly don't want it to be impractical.

your best bet would be to snag a set of complete 03wrx or 03 sti struts/springs/tophats will be direct bolt in with zero bumsag
