Default Opinions on D2 Coilovers

G'day guys,
found a cheap set of D2 Coilovers but was told to think twice about buying em because of bad experience with the brand before. Any opinions/personal experience?

Cheers

How old are they? Have they been rebuilt lately or anything ?? Have you seen them??coilovers need a bit of attention every now and then . I'd prob save for a bit longer and get a new set of hsd or STD . I had a bad experience with a set of second hand "cheap" hks coilovers. Up to you really mate , you get what you pAy for it .

depends on cheap they are I guess.

But a new set of std/hsd/bc can be had for ~1300 bucks

I wouldn't use D2s if someone gave them to me.

I've got some on my gc8, guy threw them in as a part of the sale when I brought my car, I see nothing wrong with them. Car is rock solid though, at least I don't scrape
