Default Another Help my car wont start thread!!

Gday guys,

2000 WRX wagon.

Drove it home last night no problem, just puttered home from the vet as i had my dog in the back. Got home idled for a sec then switched it off.

Got out there this morning to start it,

Turned the key
Lights all show up as usual
Car cranked
doesnt pop or fire.
Just turns over uselesly

The fuel pump primes (yes i have plenty of fuel)

Brant doesnt do anything since when i bought it months ago so i assume its not playing around with it.

There arent any mods on it besides a diff back.

The battery has plenty of juice cause i cranked it a fair few times no worries (pitch and speed sounded the same as always).

As i dont know alot about subi's im unsure whether they can flood etc like rotors.

Anything i can do to help diagnose?? normally i would take a plug out and see if there is spark but thats not really a 2min check with these cars...

Any help would be great?? I was going to take it to stechnic next week for some work so maybe i just have to tow truck it there??

THanks

If it cranks over its not a brant issue. If the engine is warm and you try start the car again does it do the same thing?

well it could be one of a million things, so i would be starting with the basics and check you have spark and fuel is actually getting to the injectors and the injectors are actually pulsing. Then report back.

how does one check that for a wrx? only ever done it with rotors...I cant access the spark plugs easy to check for ignition, and im not sure about the injector check.

Here's a tip get some start you bastard as spray into intake, if it's fires and runs the. You have spark. You can check if there's fuel buy pullin the hose of the fuel filter on the passenger side strut tower(black thin with 2 curved metal hoses ).
