Default ported throttle body

Hi

Iv just ported my throttle body. Put eveything back together and now my car idles at 1700 rpm, has thrown a CEL and acts like its on rotational idle!!

Can anybody help me to fix whats going on!?

Ported your throttle body???
Why??
my guess is theirs air going past ya throttle flap, coz theres a gap now

no i didnt port that far down. just the edges

Its a good mod. heaps better throttles response already

just checking, don't know how dumb you habibs are.
I'll bet its got better throttle response, thats coz its idling at 1700.

How about a piece of metal blocking it from shuting
or air line on wrong spot
or something stopping your throttle return spring
or its a rex and I have no idea, take it to a workshop

take the throttle body back off again, clean out the idle controller with some metho/turps and make sure it isnt stuck, also, make sure the plug is sitting properly that the pins arent bent...

or there may be damage to the throttle plate sticking open a small bit, make sure it closes properly

Plug in the laptop & check the error code with ecuExplorer.
