book it in!!! do it your self man, that way u won't have to give up ur car for a few hours, and pay some bull shit price for a "professional" to change it, it's like 4 bolts, half hr job

Yeah take it cos I think swan-dogg is forgetting that there is i think an O2 sensor in the uppipe and you need to solder a resistor onto it or you will get a CEL light on startup, and also, I heard it is an absolute C*NT of a job. I guess I am wrong

the uppipe has a threaded hole in it for a sensor.. does the old sensor just screw into that.. ? whats this about soldering..

I guess you could try that, I just remember something about it when I did it, if you get a CEL then it may be worth asking the question about resistors. RMS did mine, give them a call if you are worried.

ah ok cool .. yeah doesnt make sense if sensor comes out of old into the new shouldt be any differnce unless it has to do with what readings the sensor will be reciving after

Yeah I am unsure mate, maybe the sensor might be going, ummm there is a problem cos you wont have a cat anymore, I dunno, you can only wait and see I guess, in saying all of this, if you are running an aftermarket ECU you wont get a CEL anyway so thats another thing to take into account.

na standard ecu for now.. I am going to order rims in next couple weeks then coil overs then Ecu is the next item to be done.

Ill ring some one tomorrow and ask about sensor issue ? unless any one else on here can confirm what the deal is
