Default automatic intercooler sprayer

hey all,
wondering if anyone knows how to wire up the factory intercooler sprayers on a GDB sti so they function automatically on WOT or once it reaches a certain intake temp?
iv had a look around on the forum but only found diy sprayer setups.
i already have a vipec and thought this would be able to control sprayers but it seems that the factory wiring for the sprayers is only controlled by the manual spray button.
any help would be good cheers.

You can run a 8 psi Hobbs switch and wire it up using the existing wires on the back of your manual switch
Then just pick up a feed of a intake manifold line and plumb it to bottom of switch
When you hit 8 psi water spray turns on easy

That is what most of us would do.

Cusco used to do a waterspray controller that was very cool too.

theoretically you can use a 5v relay on the tps signal wire to switch 12v to the ic sprayer pump on near and at WOT

Just wire it a relay to the switch when you have the time and we can programme the Vi-pec to turn on/off at any boost, temp or rpm you require. No charge as long as you wire in the relay and we will wire the Vipec to the relay and set it up.

Best set up in the one you see below. Turning it on and off can be done via the Vi-pec.

thats ok Mao, already set up the intercooler sprayer how Matt suggested and works really well i used a variable hobbs switch which i set at about 8psi and i soldered the wiring in line with the switch so it can still be used. went for a 30 min run saturday morning through the hills checked it and intercooler was nice and cold.
