yes - they are wire meshed - not oiled. They last ages and are a excelent filter.

I have the overpriced HKS POD and i remember reading some accurate / unbiased test done on Performance Forums a while back that said the HKS one is 3rd after the Apexi and K+N.

Next Car i wont bother paying 200+ for the HKS version

I read an article in regards to pods a while back. It concluded that the Apexi pod was the best.... Didnt affect the AFM as it was a dry filter, and filtered out the most shit.

I'll see if I can dig it up.
