Is your car auto or manual?
Afaik the following applies.
Auto will use any gen 1 liberty auto shaft.
5 speed manual will use any gen 1 manual shaft.

If it has been converted to a 6 speed it will use a gen 1 auto shaft.

Not sure if there is a difference in length between sedan and wagon, I don't think there is. The auto shaft is shorter than the manual one but a manual N/A is same as a manual turbo.

Pretty sure Gen 2 sedan & wagon 94-98 are also the same so there will be plenty around.

Nope, Gen 2 has WRX pattern. Gen 1 Liberty pattern is unique.

There's a good chance I have one in my shed somewhere but it may take some courage to go in there and start looking. I'll try to look over the weekend.
