Angry Worst news ever

Ok so i had a few issues the other day, then had to leave to melbourne for the weekend...

So i installed the new koyo many weeks ago, Everything was great then i noticed the over flow filling up more than normal. Thought it was weird after the last 4-5 weeks of perfect running.. so i drained and filled her again and seemed to be fine with a 45min burping process. Check all my vitals.

Took her for a real nice drive out to dwellingup and back, great run out there(remember why i love that place)..... HOWEVER......... On the way back near town i felt something change so i pulled over and had a look. Over flow was fine and seemed fine under the bonnet.

Drove her about 2km(70kmh) and had to get a tow, while waiting i opened the bonnet to have another look... then the OMFG moment coolant and oil all over the engine bay..... turns out ive suffered from the ol-detonation issue.

Now i have a melted piston.... FU#K!!!!

anyone else had this problem? and what did you end up doing? An how much this slug you?

Im ready to spend some hard earned cash but OPTIONS PLEASE PEOPLE!!

Thanks in advance

Bam

205 rebuild would be alot cheaper but likely to have same issues, just ring around stechnic maximum motorsport and see what they thinks best within your budget
