Default BOV problem

Problemsorry if its long winded) just recently had a malpassie fuel reg fitted and a bosch 910 fitted also, few other things done as well(timing belt, minor ecu issues) when it was in the shop my bov was almost off so they just tightened it back up, picked it up drove home bov not venting(its a turbosmart stage 2).

took it back next day, they took it off put back on still not venting, apparently the spring was quite long, longer than usual, put in a spring half the size now venting, alot quieter but venting.

took it for a proper drive only yesterday and basically its almost always venting, any slight de-acceleration constant venting. at idle the port is open

today put original spring back in, lubed it, checked everthing, still wouldn't vent, so as recommened i cut a little off the spring, put it back in, on the soft setting it would vent but it was quite delayed, hard setting, the same, really delayed with only slight venting.

so wondering why all of a sudden it wont vent efficiently, has it got something to do directly with the bov, or the mods that were performed, still a noob so not sure as to the source of my problem?
