1998 GC8 tyre placard pic
My 1998 GC8 WRX does not have a tyre placard, and I got picked at the pits for my 18" 225/40/18R. Could someone please post/send me a photo of the tyre placard so I can work out what is required to make it legal, and for future reference. Thanks!

It'll be your rolling circumference -
Original size tyre was 205/50R16 circumference of 1921mm 225/40R18 circumference 2002mm. Would need to run 225/35R18 to get back to 1931mm.

Thanks guys for your replies. I ended up solving my problem another way.
@ratpack: yes, you are correct in what you say, but the tyres are big $$$ @Wavey: yes, that is what I was chasing, but I think that placard is newer than GC. I was told a GC8 came standard with 205/50R16. I was just hoping someone with a GC8 would give me a pic of what they have affixed to their vehicle, so I could determine the largest tyre option available to me.

Your best option would be to buy/borrow at set of standard 16's for the pits...
