Keep original airbox, fit a hi-flow K&N panel filter, then do short fat bit + silicone inlet to turbo, retune.

Should look like this when you're finished.

Dont fit a K&N filter. Go a dry apexi or similar not oiled type. Still wont see any difference however.

Stock is best.

Tend to agree, particularly on the early model AFM's.

I have had a K&N Pod on the end of my APS CAI for 5+ years now, slightly oiled, and from what I can tell I have had no problems!

The newer AFM's are far more resilient than what was installed on the GC8's.

Looks good :-) ...but what does changing the silicon hose(short fat bit??) do, any power gains?
Don't really believe aftermarket panel filters alone do much...but I'd try the Apexi or HKS dry type ones...Would go full air intake system over panels.
