2006 subaru liberty speed sensor issue
hi everyone its been a while
i have a liberty now and im having a problem with the rear wheel speed sensor as i was told when i had the codes scanned. the issue is the sport mode light flashes and doesnt allow me to engage sport mode. anyway the car is at the mechanic now and something about the two sensors reading 160pound of pressure on the right side and 90 pound of pressure on the left side so im not sure which side is faulty ? 2006 liberty march 06 5 speed auto b spec all the bells and whistles |

Wheel speed sensors reading pressure? I don't think so. I think you've misunderstood what you were told. It should be relatively easy to determine which sensor is inoperative.
Actually more common for the magnetic encoder in the wheel bearing to be faulty on those Lib's. Which is what allows the sensor to generate a signal.
