Just looking for personal experiences with use of these products? How do they compare to paying for a branded name?

for example a no branded radiator is $150 vs mishimoto $350 is it really worth the extra $$

also anybody know about the silicone hoses etc?

If you are being a jew, get an Empire Performance Intercooler, yes its china made however by account of the pickiest mechanic I know it all bolts up sweet and is well made china

Are we talking radiators or intercoolers?

With respect to intercoolers, the better manufacturers out there are designing units that will have less pressure drop and improved thermal transfer. That said, you may be hard pressed to tell the difference once either is in the car and running. Manufacture quality on the Chinese intercoolers is decent enough not to be an issue. I really doubt it's worth the extra cost unless you are chasing that few more hp.

I have a $350 china intercooler on my car. Would I be better off with a $1500 jap branded unit? Probably. I'm pushing over 600 crank hp in my wagon.
