I've always found that any additives make a mess over the rest of the car when it dries. I wash the car most weekends, change the blades at the end of every summer and never have probs just using water...
Anyone ever tried that Rainex stuff, supposed to coat your windscreen and make driving in heavy rain a lot easier to see... |

RainX is very good, makes the heavier rain bead straight off the windscreen, just like water does on a newly waxed car. Its suppose to fill the micropores in the glass, and as long as the rain is fairly coming down you dont need to use your blades at all..

Turps.
Get a spray bottle and add about 5-10ml of turps and the rest normal tap water. Spray and clean with one cotton cloth, then dry off with another. You'll be impressed with the finish guaranteed EDIT: Also works as an additive to the wiper washer water Last edited by wrxplod; 22-06-2006 at 07:49 PM. |

rainx is probably the best thing u can get out of super cheap (apart from the $10 litte led torch) and it works wonders. i use those bug/grime/dirt removal additives from super cheap as well. cleans up bird shit very well.
