Hey just bought a 2012 clubspec and I was wondering if I should get a top mount I intercooler or a front mount if so what will the difference be ?

Try this This will give you a spread of what's been tried and tested and what power were obtained Not sure if you're asking for 300hp or 300kw atw Too much power means more stress on other parts apart from the motor, like gearbox, drive shafts, etc Plus, unless you're using the power on a straight line or....trying to get the bitches wet |

If you wanted to try reach 400hp why didn't you purchase a STi that has a stronger block (ej257) as opposed to the ej255 and go from there?
Hope you have 15-20k put aside... |

Yeah, upgrading to a tmic should bring you up to 300kw easy. Don't bother with the exhaust/tune, that's just for fools.

I'm 20 all I was asking is what's the best upgrades to give me more hp I don't care about having the fastest car I just want to be faster than most people haha

1. Learn to drive it properly so you don't understeer into a tree. 2. Exhaust, fuel pump & tune (verso or Ecutek) for +30-40kw at the hubs 3. Suspension mods to make it handle 'properly' 4. Fit bigger turbo & retune +40-50kw In a nut shell an intercooler will not make you more power - Tunes & Boost make power |

That's why I got the Spec C wheel, STI gearknob, STI radiator cap, STi billet oil filler cap, STI intercooler to TB hose and the STI battery holder.
1200KW... And still great fuel economy |
