My mate has a problem with his 2007 wrx (exhaust, cold air intake and verso tune)

every now and then the check engine light comes on and it cuts out, seeming as though the engine is not receiving fuel.

Ecu data scan came up with: P0230 Fuel Pump Primary (Control) Circuit Malfunction

So we changed the fuel pump and the problem still persists?

Im thinking it may be the brant alarm system? Any ideas?

mao came out and disabled the brandt. seems to have fixed it
