Default Squeaking?

Okay I'm getting this annoying squeaking noise whilst driving. Doesn't matter if the car is warm or cold, boost or off boost.

No engine mods. King Super lows fitted although it was squeaking before installation.

Sounds like it's coming from around the steering column (no it's not my key chain).

I've also recently had my rear discs machined with brand new pads and new front slotted discs with pads.

Any ideas as to what's loose or what may be causing this horrid noise?

Appreciation in advance.

I had a sqeek after replacing my front disks and it was the clip on the top of the brake caliper wasnt clipped in properly and was touching the rim! could be that.

Definitely not the wheel nuts, checked those (car was just serviced at RMS too).

If I just had the brakes done then surely it couldn't be the wear indicators..?

Paying more attention on the way home from work it was almost silent the whole way except when going over a bit of crappy (bumpy) sealed road.

Totally confused...

wear indicators is a little bit of metal strip that could just be bent in to far regardless of pad size!!

if its bumps then maybe suspention

Might be your bonnet, mine use to make a noise, there are two adjustable rubber peices on each side of the car near the front that can be made higher / lower try raising them a little bit

definately a "squeak" not a "whistle?" the gc's mirrors whistle a bit can get very annoying, but a bit of colour coded electrical tape will fix this i'm told
