Anti Lag Question
Got a question for the A/L guru's...
What is the main cause of turbo wear when running anti lag? Is it the extreme temps from prolonged use that kills the turbo or is it the force of the 'bangs' that do it? Or both? Cheers |

Both.
You'll also increase the chance of killing your exhaust valves. If your running an aftermarket exhaust manifold, that will go before anything else also. Running antilag all the time also increases your risk of throwing shims in the cylinder heads. |

Cheers,
So even the odd bang or two for a few seconds could break something..... Good to know.. Thanks |

ANTI-LAG = Wank Factor on a street car
Only really beneficial in rallying or possibly drag racing for quick response and improved torque. My 2 cents. Although, the bright flames do look pretty at night!!

Anti lag is like going out with a girl.
Very cool and exciting at the start - after a while the shine wears off - after a bit longer who gives a fark.... |

Fun to start with and you want to show all your mates, after a while it gets a little mundane but every now and then it gets you all excited again, a bit longer and a heap of money later, you wonder if it was worthwhile in the first place.... |
