you just can't grab an off the shelf say, GT3037, from the garrett parts catalogue and expect it to fit without major surgery, up-pipe, dumpipe, brackets, wastegate, oil-lines, fittings......

so 1400 for a new proper bolt-in IHI or 5-7k for a garrett turbo.

have fun!

so if I was to go to a garrett dealer like turbo tech would they stock a garrett turbo that would fit or would i have to get one made

and what sort of performance difference would you get from a garret compaired to a IHI

lot of stuff on avo turbo's around so time to do your homework. i personally don't have any first hand experience with them, but as i previously posted, it is a premium product so expect to pay for it more-so than the humble vf series turbo.

its a crux too, depending on your hp target, the avo turbo might prove either too laggy (in a stockish scenario) or too small (in an all out hp attack).

turbo selection based on many other factors on your build so take these into account aswell.
